We have had a wonderful honeymoon here at Octopus Villa. The views are spectacular and the pool is fantastic. The facilities provided here are great, we particularly enjoyed kayaking round the bay and our outdoor movie screening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Octopus and highly recommend it! Claire and Jerome are absolutely wonderful hosts. The villa, infinity pool, facilities, grounds and yacht are just beautiful. This well appointed villa is quite private, in a great location and has a spectacular view of the harbor. The beach and several restaurants are just a ½ mile walk (downhill) and town is just a little farther via the walkway along the water. We kayaked in the harbor, hung out at Jack’s Bar, explored town, went to the Frangipani buffet and jump-up, ate pizza at Mac’s and hiked to the radio tower at the top of the hill. Don’t miss the opportunity to sail to Tobago Cays and snorkel with the turtles and at the reef and see a great view of the Milky Way. Sunset cocktails on a yacht…how good can it get! We did end up renting a car one day to explore the island (the Fort, turtle sanctuary, other communities and bays, etc.) and bought live lobsters at Paget Farm which we grilled at the villa. There are lovely locations on Bequia, but we felt we had the best seats in the house at Octopus. -Best wishes...Tim
